Why does this Texas series feel like a march to execution?

Maybe I am losing my faith a bit, or not as good of a fan as some of you here, but I feel a sense of immanent doom heading into this series. I am not a fan of of this coaching staff, or Dipoto's starting pitcher moves but I don't want to see the bleeding begin again. I was very excited to see Hamilton signed, yet it seems like a Napoli like beat down by his old team is brewing. The last 3 years have shaken my faith, and I need someone, anyone to give me some hope (more than 140 games left withstanding) we can take this series. I just don't see it.
