Mets are really freaking good. When you have that 4 man rotation, all they needed was a few offensive players to step up and instead had Murphy turn into a complete monster this postseason.

Again though, let's see how those young flamethrowers do against a Royals offense that puts the ball into play and runs the bases a lot.

Granted, former LB State guy Estrada seemed to figure that out yesterday.

 

Wonder if the Jays give him a QO.   Or is this a one-year thing for Estrada (5th best AL ERA in 2015 and 2.70 post-season ERA)?

He's a huge regression candidate for 2016. Strikeout rate dropped this season and his walk rate rose. The huge drop in BABIP(career .261 BABIP, .216 BABIP in 2015) is responsible for a lot of what went right for him. Let someone else overpay for a guy whose ERA will probably hover around 3.9-4.2 next year.
