Protest will be denied within an hour of the game ending. A protest hasn't been upheld since the George Brett pine tar game before I was even born.

 

The game a year or two ago between the Angels and Astros where the Astros made back to back pitching changes without throwing a pitch leading to an Angels protest would likely have been upheld, had the Angels not ended up winning that game.
