Maybe but Pujols is still very productive and could be so for another 3 to 4 years if his legs hold up.

Yea the complaints about the Angels spending money in free agency is lame. They paid what they had to to bring in the best player of his generation (which also brought a $3 billion TV contract) and the best left handed power hitter in the game the last several years.

Anyone who has watched even just a few games this year has to be terrified about Hamilton.  It isn't just that he isn't getting the results - he looks completely lost at the plate almost every at bat.

Spending money unwisely makes your team worse and not better.

Look at all the money Dodgers has spent and they have the same record as the Angels.
