Now that all the team's I didn't want to see win are eliminated, I don't really care who wins. I take that back. Royals being eliminated next would put a half smile on my face.

I dont have the same hate for the royals as some of you. If they win, good for them (home grown team, havent been good in years, etc). Other than that, id love to see the cubs, but any one of them would be cool. Its pretty neat to see a bunch of teams that havent been there in a while filling out the entire post season.

Mets/cubs is gonna be a good series. Hard core pitching vs hard hitting bats. Should be fun.

Cubs/jays would be rad if youre a fan of offense.

Thats how I felt last year, but after all the fights they started this year I just don't have any respect for them.  If that is how they acted after not even winning the WS can you imagine how they would act if they did win?  Not to mention their fans who went from some of the more likable fans in baseball to some of the most annoying fans in any sport.  They are right on par with Seahawk fans. 

 

I actually was hoping Houston would beat them.  They haven't been in the AL West long enough for me to have developed a rivalry mindset against them and at least they would be representing the division.  Anyways, I'm now hoping for Jays vs Mets or Cubs.  Mets/Jays would be pretty awesome from the great pitching vs great hitting aspect.

To be fair i dont really follow the royals, so am not really aware of their douche factor.

Kills me seeing volquez shutting down the jays right now. We never seem to able to pick up so so pitchers and cash in on them. Piniero is the last one that comes to mind.

We need to get smart and start getting paul byrd types again. Stoneman whiffed on some failures to sign FAs, and GMJ was horrible, but he was a good judge of below the radar moves

I can't imagine the hype if the Cubs make the World Series. If they win it, civilization as we know it will end.
