This Is Goose IPA

I think the targeted banner ad is broken, this is the only one I get now on my phone. I miss the mattress ads.

Anyone else have this problem?

Goose Island is a good IPA.  Ironically, I usually drink it when I am in CT even though the brewery is less than two hours away from here.

I'll third the opinion that Goose Island is a damn fine IPA.

It's a very good IPA. Goose Island is owned/distributed by InBev (Budweiser) now, but so far they haven't screwed it up. Nice part is, you can usually get Goose Island beers at places that you would have been stuck with just a Bud or Coors.

Not an IPA guy, but the Bourbon County is one of my all-time favorites and used to be #1 or top 5 on every beer rating site. Their Sofie and Matilda are good too.

I hate IPA's for the most part, but can stomach a pint or two of Goose. Gets you nice and buzzed,too.

My brother gave me a bottle of Bourbon County when I saw him a few weeks ago. Excited to try it.

I live in NE so I get the opportunity to be a complete snob when it comes to IPA's; not a big fan of this one. Goose Island is a great brewery though.

SoCal is IPA ground zero.

Oh no doubt. So Cal has the quantity and distribution down pat. Plus smaller places like Alpine, Pizza Port and of course Russian River.

In NE I have to travel for a bit but I have access to 9 of the top 10 IPA's listed on beeradvocate and 14 of the top 20 Double IPA's.

I just wish NE could get the distribution aspect down. Having to travel 2 hours in every direction to get great beer is a pain.

NE Brew Co makes some excellent beer.  One of my favorite parts of being in Connecticut.

Goose Island IPA is one of the worst IPAs I've had. Even tried it again the other day just to see if I was mistaken before. Nope. Tasted bad. Then again I'm not a fan of the English IPA and prefer west coast style.

New England certainly has some amazing beers. Heady Topper from the Alchemist, and some of the beers from Hillstead Farm, are absolutely amazing. Unfortunately you have to be a stone's throw from their locations in Vermont to get them.

Didn't like the IPA that much, though the Experimental was not bad.

Love IPAs in general. Those that don't like them have an issue with the bitterness I suppose.
