For the hell of it this summer, I quit clicking on my notifications for "likes". It got up to 285 this week. Now I see its down to 279.

I think maybe your likes stay on for some period of time, then kind of fall off.

Or, people are going back and unliking something of mine that they liked previously.

I get the 6 falling off. What i don't get is the 285.
