You can reduce the guns and drugs on the streets without locking people up.

Then that means cities like Baltimore, DC and Chicago are purposely ignoring the problem. Maybe that is the case and that's kind of fucked up.

Just Stop Oil spray Stonehenge with orange paint as passer-by steps in to try to drag them away

Just Stop Oil protesters have sprayed Stonehenge with orange paint as members of the public were seen trying to drag them away.

Video footage posted on social media showed two people, wearing white shirts with Just Stop Oil emblazoned on the front, running up to the ancient monoliths with canisters and spraying paint all over them.

This really makes me want to get behind their cause.

Reading is for retards amirite?

In a heroic attempt to stop the group desecrating the stones, one woman was seen desperately trying to drag the protesters away before other members of the public piled in to help her.

Nobody piled in. She was one of the guides and the one other guy that stepped in worked for the Stonehenge society.

What should have happened is an angry mob should have slammed these assholes heads into the monolith, then covered them in their own paint before kicking them out of the area.

When you’re around we all assume that.  But we also assume there will be clean toilets in the vicinity.

The sad part of all of this is that the tourists just watched instead of making any attempt to stop them. What compels people to be onlookers rather than respond baffles me.

Like you would do anything besides finish your sausage roll, fatty.

Report details 'campaign contribution laundering scheme' involving Oakland mayor, city officials

There are new details about one of the individuals at the center of the FBI's political corruption investigation, which resulted in the raid of the Oakland mayor's home last week.

A short search on Andy Duong's Instagram page shows he frequently posts with people in high places in the political world - including President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Governor Gavin Newsom, Attorney General Rob Bonta, and Health and Human Services Secretary and former state Attorney General Xavier Becerra. The list includes elected leaders in other states such as Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford.

According to an investigation by the Fair Political Practices Commission, which is a state oversight arm, "Andy Duong was the true source of at least 93 contributions to multiple local campaign committees when he created a campaign contribution laundering scheme to benefit his family-owned company, California Waste Solutions."

The report states Duong, "falsely using the names of intermediaries or straw donors, instead of disclosing CWS, as the true source of the contributions."

Maybe if they started producing more shows that people would want to watch? That could help.

You do realize that is further up the chain than the writers? They only try and produce what the top brass demands and those decision makers is where the qualitative process hits an iceberg. It's like blaming the stokers in the engine room for the Titanic hull breach.
