I would appreciate an explanation as to why the freedom caucus is beefing with McCarthy.  I am not a conservative and do not quite understand the objection to him.  I’m sure there is some reason or set of reasons beyond them not liking him.  
 

Genuinely, I’m interested in what’s going on here.  To me, a Margery Taylor Greene does not seem very different from a Lauren Boebert politically.  And yet they are apparently solidly opposed on this issue.

I believe it’s mostly about rules and positions. None of their legislative issues will pass but they want to push deficit reduction, border security , and term limits. All things establishment reps aren’t interested in addressing any more than the dems. There is certainly some personal beefs with Greene maybe since her dirt laundry was aired in the divorce. It’s odd because Gaetz has more questionable behavior than anyone in the group.
