Point being, if they're making a decision that a lot/a majority of the population is against, I have no problem whatsoever with it being leaked.  I fully understand that few people on this board are going to agree with that stance, though.

That isn't the way the SCOTUS is supposed to operate. It is an intimidation tactic to try and influence the justices that aren't named Alito that are likely to support overturning it. Are you OK with that too? What other reason could they have for doing this?
