Nope. My parents have a place up here. My grandfather was a grape farmer and my mom inherited his place. They remodeled the home so we come up here to hang out

My in-laws live in South Reno so Mt. Rose is super easy to get to when I'm in town. I shared a lift with a dude who used to work ski patrol there. He said that Mt. Rose was the backup for the Olympics if Squaw didn't get enough snow that year. Back then there wasn't that many resorts and the snow varies on different sides of the lake. Have fun mang.

Ya if you go on a couple trips the Ikon pass is totally worth it. Mt. Rose is small it's fun. You can see the casinos from some of the runs lol.
