What is your solution Glen.  So far all you've done is shoot down everything.  I remember when you said you were not opposed to requiring ID's to vote.  Have you changed your position?

See what Red posted above.  I've said I don't mind IDs to vote as long as the IDs are easy to get.  As you can see from above, that isn't nearly always the case.  Note that most (if not all) if these impedances happen in areas that tend to vote strongly Democratic.  I have a hard time believing that's a coincidence.

Again, what is your solution?  Do you think anyone in the country should be able to vote?

Since voting for president is a nationwide event, perhaps we should go to some sort of national voter ID which also must be accepted by every state.  How that would happen I'm not sure, but it's a possible solution.

Solution to what? What problem is Voter ID trying to solve? There are almost no cases of documented voter impersonation fraud, and their certainly are not documented cases of a vast voter impersonation conspiracy with hundreds or  thousands of people going from voting location to voting location and impersonating people on the voter rolls.

IDs are not hard to get. Getting off your ass and doing it seems to be the problem.

Red listed how many people in Texas do not have a valid ID for voting. It does not prove they are unable, if they wanted one, to get that ID. You guys are making shit up out of shit statistics that has nothing to do with getting a valid ID for voting.

And it has zero to do with race.

Glen opens the door to embedded tracking chips. Thanks, buddy.

I think this is my favorite anecdote...

Many ID-issuing offices maintain limited business hours. For example, the office in Sauk City, Wisconsin is open only on the fifth Wednesday of any month. But only four months in 2012 — February, May, August, and October — have five Wednesdays.

This was also the case in 2016 apparently

This is my favorite anecdote..........

I'll bet if any of these people hit a jackpot at Morongo Casino for $1199 or more, they'll find a picture ID in a jiffy.........

That is stupid.  Like I have argued, the process for getting an ID should be streamlined.  That is just bureaucratic bs.

agree 100%. The process needs to be fixed, but the concept of having a gov't-issued ID is still important enough to pursue.
