i think i'm going to go to practice tomorrow at the toyota center in case anyone here wants to join me. will be there about 9:00 am.

got to practice a bit late, but was impressed with what i saw. most energetic guy on the ice, by far, was lacavlier. wow, he was impressive.

 

versteeg was in full pads and looked like he could play tonight. 

 

matt greene was in full pads, also, and doing regular drills with the d-men. he stayed late working on his shot (wrist shot looked sad), and cycling down low to clear the puck. glad i got to go. might head back there friday.

Good to hear about Greenie and Versteeg, but I'm guessing that Gabby is probably out of the SCP at this point.

He's the first Kings player to score 30 since Kopitar in 09-10. How did we go six years without a thirty goal scorer? man, offense just sucks these days.

They looked like another team after Calgary's last goal. Really dramatic to see the difference between them coasting and them applying effort.

Pearson's face had a really unlucky night.

Unless the Kings dramatically change their opinion on post-clinch intensity Thursday won't end well barring freakish luck.

I thought so too until we tied it with 30 seconds left. I had a hard time going back and forth between the Angels and kings.

I just don't see the Kings looking at the next two games that way. They certainly don't give two squirts about division "titles". I honestly don't know which team they want to face in the first round but travel wise I'm sure they'd rather stay in Cali for potentially the first two rounds.

I'd rather stay on the west coast and travel the 1 hour flight (if that) to San Jose than travel across the country to Nashville. Get home ice though.
