Looks like the Fowler Depres abortion has been broken up. Fowler appears to be skating with Bieksa tonight. Never would have thought in October that I'd be thanking the gods for that news come the playoffs.

Kinda sucks that we dominated the whole period and still end up tied. Anyway, if they keep up this forecheck we should be in good shape.

Nashville is gaining the blue line way too easily.  On the other side the Ducks are really having trouble gaining the zone.  Nashville's speed is killer.

I really didn't mind the penalties. It was nice to see them impose some physicality on Nashville. It's an important part of the forecheck. Believe the Nashville D were thinking about it when trying to retrieve the puck. We forced some turnovers. I just hope we can maintain the intensity.

Obviously we don't want to many of the extra pointless ones.

I agree.  And that physicallity actually caused Nashville to commit a penalty of trying to be physical on us.

The goal was too bad. Depres got beat and they were able to execute. Let's definitely hope that they don't tail off after 1 period. This group has faced tons of adversity this year. It's do or die time, I'm not too worried about mental tough ness. These guys know what's up.......I think.
