Back to back games. Khudobin gets the start against his former team and Freddie will be in tomorrow night against the preds who are a better team.

Hamelin with his best game as a Duck by far. Great game for him. Happy to see him net one, as well.

 

Good win. Lets take it to Nashville tomorrow. Maybe some time away from home will do this team good. I was impressed with Ritchie. Anyone else?

Yea it looks like he has good instincts. I noticed a couple times he looked a little lost but it was his first game so I am not worried. I hope he continues to get ice time.

Ritchie just needs ice time, and getting used to the big boys.  Definitely he has the body to throw around.  I think another thing he has to realize is that he no longer is the big fish in the pond that has to do a lot more.

True although a couple of the moves he made tell me he still is a big fish on the pond.  Dude showed some insane skill.

 

It looked mostly like he got lost when the shift was over and he needed a line change.  I would imagine that will be fixed in the next couple games once he is more comfortable.

 

He made some really slick passes and also one Getzlaf like centering pass to noone in particular.  But since it wasn't in the defensive zone like all of Getzlaf's it was no big deal.

For ****s sake Freddie. For a goaltender who is usually pretty good, his tendency to give up horrendously bad goals is bizarre.

That is the weakest goal I have ever seen a goalie give up.  Why do the ducks always end up with goalies that make amazing saves and give up the weakest goals?

Freddie is an absolute joke of a goaltender.  Its comical Ducks fans are tricked into thinking this guy is actually a competent goaltender.

I was going to say Gibson's one against the Kings in 2014 playoffs and Freddie's against Blackhawks to send game 5 in 2015 to OT were probably worse...but the more I think about it, no they weren't.

Speaking of Gibson, can we add him to the list of call ups from San Diego?

If this was baseball.  Pikachu would have been kicked out of the game for having a 30 inch glove.  My god, that thing is massive.

Anderson needs to go.  The team is struggling and this is the 2nd time this season he's surrendered a goal thats a result of sheer laziness, ultimately both instances cost the team the game.  Theres nothing else to say about it.  His head is not in the game and his ass deserves to be on the bench.  Just to many trash goals.  Especially with a guy like Gibson down in the minors.  You would think he would feel some heat to secure his job especially being a restricted FA.  Its just not there, im just sick of him.

Freddie's head has been in the game better than probably any Duck player this year. Bad play, but he's a solid goalie( not great, but pretty good).

What's sad is they played night and day better than last night.  Hockey is a cruel game sometimes.

Freddie gives up the worst softies.
