Stephen Jackson claims he abandoned Imani Showalter at the altar because she refused to sign a prenuptial agreement.

He also admitted to having sexual relations with a member of Showalter’s bridal party the night after he canceled the wedding.

Part of my alarm wake up is a this day in history.  Today was when the Austria/Serbia war became WW 1.  I find it fascinating how a local fracas between two countries erupted into a world war because of alliances.  This is kind of similar to what is happening today.

A man in California was recently recognized for breaking the world record for the most ghost peppers eaten in one minute.

Gregory Foster was recognized on Monday by Guinness World Records for eating 17 ghost peppers – also known as bhut jolokia – in 60 seconds.

Ghost peppers can register 1 million or more Scoville Heat Units (SHU), while a jalapeno pepper registers between 2,500 and 8,000 SHU, the press release said.

Murder suspect calls police over cold McDonald’s food, gets arrested

A murder suspect on the run from police in Georgia was arrested Friday after he called 911 to complain about his McDonald’s fries being too cold.

Antoine Sims, 24, entered into a dispute with McDonald’s staff in Kennesaw, Georgia that resulted in both him and management calling the police. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Sims had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in a homicide case, FOX 5 of Atlanta reported.

Sims was previously arrested in March 2019, as he was accused of setting a car on fire with a woman’s body inside in October 2018. He was charged with felony murder and ordered to appear in court.

PREHISTORIC PRIZE: 8-year-old discovers unforgettable fossil that's millions of years old

PREHISTORIC PRIZE: 8-year-old discovers unforgettable fossil that's millions of years old

An outdoorsy eight-year-old found a fossilized shark tooth from a long-extinct species while he was on a family vacation in South Carolina earlier this month of August 2022.

Riley had uncovered a 4.75-inch Angustidens tooth in the company’s "premium" gravel layer.

Angustidens were a prehistoric megatoothed shark that lived about 33 million to 22 million years during the Oligocene and Miocene epochs.

That's according to Mindat.org, a nonprofit mineral database and mineralogical reference website hosted by the Hudson Institute of Mineralogy of Keswick, Virginia.

Experts believe angustidens were a close relative of megalodons, an extinct prehistoric shark that’s said to be the largest shark species ever to live, which scientists have concluded based on since-discovered fossils.
