Teen zip line rider showers Las Vegas tourists in urine

What happens in Vegas, sprays in Vegas.

Las Vegas tourists were treated to an unexpected, and unwelcome, sprinkling when a teenager riding a zip line through the Fremont Street Experience urinated on people below as he sped through the attraction on Wednesday.

A spokesperson for the SlotZilla attraction confirmed to FOX 5 Las Vegas that a 15-year-old boy “drenched the people below” in pee.

“Like a lot of liquid coming from above us, just showering from head to toe our back and top of the head dripping down, and we thought it was some sort of water, maybe some drinks or beer,” Cazimere Ferguson, a tourist from Honolulu, told the station.

The Fremont Street Experience is a 24-hour entertainment complex featuring shopping, casinos, restaurants and more just a few blocks from the Las Vegas Strip. SlotZilla opened in 2014.

A marketing director for Fremont Street told the FOX affiliate that the teenager’s parents apologized for the incident. At this time it is unclear whether the boy urinated on people as a joke or if it was the result of an accident.

Paid parking on Vegas Strip starts in June with many rules

MGM has just jumped the shark.  I love how they will also charge hotel guests parking.  This isn't going to end well for them.

are they losing money in their casinos or something? charging guests to park is terribly offensive (and completely unnecessary).

if you own a casino in vegas on the strip and you aren't turning a profit, you're doing it wrong and should sell immediately.

look at all of the properties on the strip owned by MGM (i counted 12):

"The per-day fee for self-parking will be $8 and valet parking will be $13 a day at Monte Carlo, Luxor and Excalibur. Circus Circus valet will also charge $13 a day while self-parking will remain free.

MGM's higher-end properties, including the Bellagio, Aria, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Mirage and New York-New York, will charge $10 for self-parking and $18 for valet parking per day. The Vdara and Delano, which do not offer self-park, also will charge the higher rate for valet."

"Nevadans will get a break through Dec. 29 with free-self parking for up to 24 hours. To get the benefit, drivers will have to scan their driver's license at the gate.

Absher said the company only scans the driver's license barcode to ensure it's valid and does not access any personal information."

annnnd here we go.

Circus Circus will be dead and boarded up by the end of the year.  I can't see any sane person paying $8 or $13 to go there.  And it's too far away from anything useful to walk.

The rest is grouped together.  But I'll stick to center strip, since there is much more to do there anyways.  Harrah's, Venetian, and Wynn are probably high fiving each other so the bump in revenue they will probably get.

Las Vegas charging for parking does not make sense. I realize they are looking for more revenue, but it could work the opposite. Tourists will start looking at other Casinos that don't charge. I had to pay a parking meter when I went to the Fremont Experience since there was no large parking lot.

I pay to park when I go to hotels by the beach since there is so little parking on the street. I can understand this.

Next thing, the casinos are going to start charging for drinks.

At that point.  What's the point of Vegas?  Really, the only thing that separates Vegas from the Indian casino's are the sportsbook and free drinks.  And the sportsbook I can do on Xpressbet or TVG.

I was talking about this over dinner with friends.  Hooters and Tropicana better get their program in order.  Because if they continue with free parking, everyone will park there and walk across the street to the shysters.  I have a feeling both Hooters and Tropicana will have some type of validation program for parking (gambling, hotel guests, and those that eat there will get comped), and charge comparable rates.
