Disneyland's 'demand pricing' starts Sunday

Disneyland visitors should expect to pay more starting Sunday if they come to the park during a more popular time.

Under the new pricing policy, each day will be designated either a "value" day, a "regular" day or a "peak" day. Value day admission will cost $95, regular day admission $105 and peak admission $119. Before the change, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure had been charging $99 for a one-day ticket.

Disney has said the new pricing policy, which also applies to its other U.S. theme parks, is a crowd-management technique. The company calculated that over a 12-month period, 30% of the days will be "value" days, 44% will be "regular" days and 26% will be "peak" days.

so go on a value day and save a whopping $4. go on a regular day and your price goes up $6.

disneyland doing their very best to make us more aggravated.

  'MIRACULOUS' FIND
Man discovers century-old baseball cards in paper bag

From a crumpled paper bag in a dilapidated house came a baseball-card find of a lifetime. Seven of them actually.

Card experts in Southern California said Wednesday that they have verified the legitimacy — and seven-figure total value — of seven identical Ty Cobb cards from the printing period of 1909 to 1911.

Before the recent find, there were only about 15 known to still exist.

Joe Orlando, the president of Professional Sports Authenticator in Newport Beach, California, who verified the find, said it is "spectacular" and "miraculous" to have come across such a cache.

"I am not sure if any other baseball card find is more remarkable than this new discovery," Orlando said in a statement.

CHARITY SCANDAL
Top donor urges Wounded Warrior exec to step down

Fred and Dianne Kane, the parents of two Iraq War veterans, have donated $325,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project since 2009 through their personal charity, Tee-off for a Cause.

Slightly more than half of the Kanes' donations directly benefitted veterans, according to CBS News.

But after recent tax forms reflected questionable spending by the veterans’ charity on staff expenditures, including $26 million on conferences and meetings at luxury hotels, Fred Kane called for CEO Steven Nardizzi to be fired.

“Hearing that there was this waste of money, donor dollars that should have been going to servicemen and women that were injured, and that it was spent on [Wounded Warrior Project staff] having a good time—it’s a real disappointment,” Dianne Kane told CBS News.

Former Subway pitchman-turned-prisoner Jared Fogle has gone from selling six-inch sandwiches to adding six inches to his waistline.

Fogle, three months into a 16-year sentence for possessing child porn and having sex with underage prostitutes, has gained about 30 pounds already by snacking on sweets, a prison insider told In Touch Weekly.

“Jared’s breakfast is usually Frosted Flakes with fruit or oatmeal with cake,” the source said. “He loves ‘cake day’ in the dining hall twice a week, and he buys Honey Buns by the box, as well as other pastries, in the commissary on his weekly shopping day. He’s been known to eat an entire box of eight at one sitting.”

The insider told In Touch that Fogle is often taunted for being a “dirty child rapist.” His attempts to speak up for himself allegedly have not gone well

.

“The inmate slapped him across the cheeks several times and made his face red,” the source said. “Jared just stood there stunned, then ran out of the gym.”

Odor-killing undies are a thing now

Shreddies, as they are called, promise to suppress the odor from, ahem, flatulence.

The innovative undies, which will set you back between $37 and $75 a pair, come in both boxers and briefs and are for both men and women.

The maker of Shreddies claims its understated underwear is able to remove the foul odors because they are equipped with strategically positioned carbon fiber filters.

Some of us could really put these to the test. I know I could.
