Man gets penis stuck inside dumbbell plate at gym

Firefighters in Worms, Germany were called in to help free a man who got his penis stuck in the hole of a 2.5kg (5.5 pound) weight at a gym.

With the help of a grinder and a hydraulic saw, they were able to break the weight into 5 parts, freeing the man's penis.

On Friday, the Feuerwehr Worms Fire Department released a photo on Facebook, showing the dumbbell disc broken into 5 pieces after the 3-hour ordeal that took place in order to free the man.

The message in their Facebook post was very clear: "Bitte solche Aktionen nicht nachmachen!" which translates to "Please do not imitate such actions!"

O.J. Simpson is released from prison

They claimed he’d be out as soon as Monday. He’s out a day earlier than that.

Eight minutes after Simpson became eligible to be released, the Nevada authorities released him.

Via the Associated Press, Nevada prisons spokesperson Brooke Keast said Simpson was released, but had no other information about his status.

“I don’t have any information on where he’s going,” Keast said, also adding that she doesn’t know who picked him up at the prison.

The claim that he’d be released as soon as Monday apparently was about keeping a horde of media away from the prison gates. And it worked.

“We needed to do this to ensure public safety and to avoid any possible incident,” Keast said.

While actual “incidents” may not occur, Simpson surely will attract media attention and fascination, unless he wants to remain underground and successfully keeps himself out of the public eye. On one hand, there’s plenty of money for the 70-year-old to make by giving interviews, signing autographs, and making appearances; on the other hand, much of it will end up in the bank accounts of the estate of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman, due to the multi-million-dollar civil verdict against him from 20 years ago.

they were smart to release him this way as it avoids the media circus.

OJ better be on his guard. he's going to be on cell phone video far more than he imagines. any screw-ups and the world (and prison/parole authorities) will know about it pretty quickly.

Nothing is going to happen.  He's a felon and a innocent charged murderer.  And he will spend his remaining days the way a lot of us wish we could spend our remaining days.  Playing golf everyday at really nice golf courses.

An Indiana couple has admitted stealing more than $1.2 million in merchandise from Amazon in an elaborate scheme. Erin Joseph Finan, 38, and Leah Jeanette Finan, 37, pleaded guilty in federal court in Indianapolis to charges of mail fraud and money laundering in connection with the racket, the Star Press reports.

The duo bought hundreds of electronics such as Go Pro cameras, Samsung smartwatches, and Xboxes, then told Amazon the products weren't working and requested replacements at no charge.

The couple created "hundreds" of false identities to conceal the scam. Prosecutors say the Finans sold the loot to Danijel Glumac, 28, who marked it up before reselling it to an unnamed New York outfit, Fox59 reported in May when the trio was busted.

Glumac, who was also charged, allegedly paid the Finans about $725,000. The merchandise was eventually resold on the black market. "Consumer fraud is absorbed by all of us through higher retail prices," US Attorney John Minkler said at the time.

The Finans were ordered to repay Amazon $1.2 million, and they face up to 20 years in prison. Sentencing is set for Nov. 9.

I've been following this story from when it first came out about the dissapearence of a woman journalist that boarded a home built submarine to interview the owner. This is one sick dude but worse is he will never really face justice because of Denmark's ridiculously lenient sentencing for murder.

Strangers rescue man in wheelchair stuck on tracks moments before train barrels through

As a man in a wheelchair sat stuck on tracks with a train barreling toward him, a group of strangers leaped into action.

Several people rushed to help the older man and his wife, who was trying to push the wheelchair off the tracks, just moments before the train sped through, KTVI-TV reported.

Julie Flanders and her brother, Chandler Tourigny, were two people who helped the couple in Kirkwood, Mo., Thursday. Flanders said they were stopped at the tracks in their car when she looked up from her phone and saw a woman sprinting toward the tracks.

The woman was able to reach the couple and lifted the man off the tracks just seconds before the train came rushing through.

Flanders and her brother helped move the group further away from the train as their mother filmed the harrowing rescue on a cellphone.

“It all happened [in] seconds,” Flanders said. “I was like, oh my gosh, are they going to make it? Are they not going to make it?

Flanders and her brother told KTVI that the first woman was the true hero in the story.

“I want to applaud her, too, for being selfless,” Flanders said. “She definitely noticed and she went and helped somebody she didn’t even know.”
