Disappointing start. Would have loved to be 1-0 and not 0-1, but whatever. It's a long season.

 

Batters really need to start showing up though... Trout can't do it alone. I also can't help but feel like we downgraded in terms of offense with Howie, Hank, and Josh (for now) who are gone.

Conger's. 618ops not being in the lineup is an upgrade. Josh provided nearly nothing in two years other than inconsistencies.

Weavs breaking pitches look really good so far.  Couldnt care less about the velocity.

No but his defense makes up for it. We haven't had a good defensive catcher in a while. As evidenced by Ianetta nearly air mailing a ball into center field, but thankfully Aybar has mad hops.

No idea when accountability comes in but Felix did not have a 30 inch strike zone yesterday. This wasn't Eric Gregg type of zone.

Well Rodney has slammed the door on us since that bow and arrow game. We are 2-5 vs the Mariners since then. We just need to start winning because we've actually lost the last 7 games in a row that count.

I think an opening day win is more novelty than anything. Angels won opening day in 2013 and lost in 2014 to give you some perspective of the importance of winning opening day.
