I don't think it's about the joke as much as the teller of the joke. The man is a sitting senator and fancies himself a presidential candidate.

Yes.  Senators and potential presidential candidates have evaluated themselves to such a high standard over the last several decades.  We should really expect more of them.

if jay leno or jon stewart tells that pelosi joke, maybe it's funny. lindsay graham did not tell it in a funny way, and i think that disqualifies it from being a joke. it comes off sounding more like a personal attack.

 

i blame obama.

and ISIS.
