Hamilton Suspension Rumors/Speculations (post updates here)

so he was supposedly being tested 3 times per week yet it's being speculated that he never tested positive.  that has to raise some eyebrows for a couple of reasons.  one, either he wasn't being tested as often as he should have been, or two, Hamilton was able to somehow beat the test.  perhaps he got 'lucky', but if there was impropriety, that has to be taken into account as well.

It depends on the cutoffs of each drug and that's measured on nanograms per milliliter. If you only do a small

Amount of drugs, it likely won't show up even on zero tolerance tests. There is a range they have to allow. And since drugs half lives are what dictates if they stay in the system, anyone could do a little blow right after a drug test and it would not be traceable 2-3 days later.

Just like taking two hits of a joint isn't going to trigger a positive on a test that has a cutoff level of 50 Ng/ml which is standard zero tolerance.

Are people's glasses so empty that it's not within reason that Hamilton fell off the wagon once and reported it? People here are making it sound like he's Tony Montana, or Ron Washington.

Well, people hate the guy and feel wronged about how much money he makes, and the fact that he isn't performing. So yea, people here are that empty about the whole thing.

the other thing to keep in mind is that the clock on his suspension won't start until he's actually ready to play. So if he's not ready to come off the DL until May or June, and he gets an 80 game suspension, that essentially wipes him out for the season.

or he would be back just in time for the playoffs

I have full glasses all around.  One of my glasses is full of hope that Josh can get his life straightened out so he can be a good father and husband.  Another glass is full of relief knowing that I won't have to watch his awful play for at least 4 to 5 more months.
