Just saw this picture of Angels Stadium posted on Facebook.

 

 

Are my eyes deceiving me, or has the rock pile in left center field been taken out?

Center was always the batters eye.  It's always been just left of center.  

 

They move it, depending on where Weavers release point is.

Like it or not, that stadium will continue to be the home of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim for many years to come.

The building is ARTIC.

The rockpile looks like it has ivy growing on the left side and the time of day the picture was taken puts it in shadow.

The building beyond CF is the Honda centre where the Ducks play.

ARTIC transpo hub is the ghey beetle shaped thing partially hidden by the RF scoreboard.

I don't care about name change. I'd love to see the big A return into CF, or a better, new improved Big A.

Sadly I've only been to Angels stadium once, a Angels/Padres game in 2002, but that's cuz I grew up in San Jose. Now I'm in Oklahoma, so I'll have to go to Dallas to see games :'(

I'd like to see a new scoreboard in right field that doesn't have a patchwork of bad panels on opening day and that worsens as the season progresses.  Feels like we have one of the worst scoreboards in pro sports.

It isn't good. To be fair, though, technology changes fast and there's no sense putting one in before the stadium situation is settled.

What about KC? Depending on where in OK you are, it's a straight shot north up I-35.
