By the way, it's kind of funny how Russia went in and started bombing the fighters we're supporting right away. I would have thought they'd have gone after ISIS at least to keep up appearances.

Yeah they aren't too discerning about targets as long as Assad approves. And for the sake of accuracy, we are leading a coalition which includes a lot of local countries that are much more selective about targets.

The only reason the U.S. thinks Assad should be deposed is so a natural gas pipeline can be built from Qatar to Turkey.
