I did, I've actually watched them all.

 

There's a kind of quality production value that makes the naysayers have some validity, plus you rarely ever see everything start to finish.......for instance, they'll start to behead someone, the screen blacks out, then you just see the aftermath. Add the production quality and it has the feel of some gore movie or Game of Thrones scene. The one where they lit the dude on fire a couple months ago was probably the worst, but again, there is room for doubt.

 

Seeing the GoPro cameras on the cage made it pretty brutal.

 

The very first one many years ago of that first American that was beheaded was pretty legit though. It had the home made porn look and was start to finish.

 

I'm pretty desensitized to it, plus the bit of doubt regarding validity.

You should read what they do to prisoners.  From reports of people that were prisoners and somehow got free.  They actually do this over and over.  As a form of psycho torture.  Like a rehearsal.  They will come out and do a beheading, and just before the beheading, they will take you back to your cage.  Over and over.  That's why all those people that are beheaded usually don't put up a struggle.  Over and over they will do it and stop just before they do the act.  Then one day, they do the act.

it's all shock value.  If you behead someone now.  It's not worldwide news.  So they need a catch.  

 

Kind of like reality tv.  What you did before won't get you ratings.  You need a twist to get people talking.

Having a significant other in the psychology realm, it's called intermittent reinforcement.

Basically, a slot machine. If you knew you'd always lose you wouldn't play. Same mental conditioning. The guys simply don't know when it's their turn....which trips me out for the beheadings where they do the speech before....actually, they cut out, so they probably do the speech at some point then the killing is unexpected.

Makes sense they condition them.

As ****ed up as it is, and I catch myself thinking about it as it's happening, I look at their faces to see if there is that panic or fear of death. I imagine they know they are going to die and make whatever peace or prepare....I liken it to when you're a kid and climbing a tree and part of the danger is being able to fall and that fear of not falling. You slip and fall, but after that initial shock you realize you can't do anything and accept whatever pain you get before hitting the ground.

It's just a trippy psychological process watching.
