I'm disappointed Songbird lost.  I am happy that Practical Joke won.  I'm really indifferent to this years 3 year olds.  I really don't know who's won or lost in that category.

More like the last big race for 3 YO's.  I'd say Breeders Cup, but the Travers race is more where all the 3 YO's compete.  You will have some of those that did well compete for the classic instead of the Breeders Cup Derby.  Come to think of it, I don't even know if there is a Breeders Cup Derby.  Breeders Cup is more a older horses and the Futurity (2 Year olds that will compete for next years Kentucky Derby)

I've not been over here for a while. I was alive to Gunnevera and Irap in the pick 3 (was out of pick 4 because I singled Biscuits). I'll keep continuing to play against Baffert, stupidly.

I don't know man. These 3 YOs are shit. His times in the Travers and Penn Derby weren't all that fast. Arrogate, Gun Runner and Collected seem to be much better. 

 

I am hearing Arrogate might be retired though.

West Coast wins in a romp, for fun, by 15 lengths, and doesn't break a sweat.

That said...I'm going to be REAL gun-shy betting on any of this season's 3YO crop. Probably will be sticking to the vets, just like Scioscia.

Probably. It is too early to think about wagering strategy, but if Arrogate runs I'm singling him for sure. I have to think they don't run him if they think he's going to lose.

Your first sign indicator might be if they run West Coast in the 3yo race.  Wait, do they have a 3 yo race?  Ok, the definitive one will be.  Which one Mike Smith stays on.

If you want a blast to the way past.  On Amazon Prime, watch Seabiscuit the Lost Documentary.  I guess it was made the year after he beat War Admiral.  In the typical old style news format, but pretty impressive.

In the late pick 4 it looks like the Mile is our best chance at catching a big price. The Turf could present some value. But, if you can beat Bolt D'Oro in the Juvenille, you'll get paid.
