the pastor's daughter broke up with a boy and wanted to send him a really mean text, only she didn't want to write it herself. asked two boys to write something, so each of them did. they were in the library and showed the text to at least a dozen other kids before sending it.

 

the kid that received all of this venom is a nice kid, and he's a friend of one of the boys that composed the text. we only found out about the the text because this kids' mom has her phone set up to receive all the texts her son receives. she also happens to be a lawyer.

 

Damn, so I guess we will hear the answer of when a lawyer, policeman, and pastor walk into a bar.

the three kids who wrote/sent the text were all members of the honor society, emphasis on were. the girls was also a class officer, something that was also removed from her.

Kids these days are brutal too.

 

yeah, this was a pretty ugly case of cyber bullying. can't remember seeing anything this harsh.

 

one of the things we've all seen with the proliferation of social media is it's revealed that a lot of people no longer have very much discernment or embarrassment.

i just read an article about the faux "gangs" at disneyland walking looking like motorcycle club but with hilarious names like The Neverlanders and Main Street Elite.

they trade pins and are just generally disney fanatics, but covered in tats and looking like a wannabe gang.

 

is this actually a thing?

I think they are trying to tell you something. If you remember even your wife botches your In N Out order, on purpose. So that pretty much covers the 16-89 year old demographics. If you were a sitcom you would be worth billions.

i have a major quandry and need your advice.

just finished grading an 8th graders final test, which was about the civil war. one of the questions was to give one of the alternate names for the North (like Union, or Yankees, or Federals, etc.). one of the answers was bluebellies. one of my boys from china wrote blueberry. should i give him credit?

Well, is he wrong?  Just because you don't like the name, doesn't mean they aren't a bunch of blueberries.  Damn racists.

But I'd give credit and correct him.  Then show him the Chinese laundry commercial to make him feel better.
