We get telemarketers non  stop all day long. The assholes are now just using google to pull phone numbers and a web based phone service so it is untraceable. You would think there would be a real law for this and stiff prosecution but even if there was theses assholes would continue on.

So a call comes and I answer it and the lady rattles on and on and on, and I just uh huh everything she says in her sales speech. At the end I say I'm really not interested in anything you have to say. She snaps back, why did you waste my time! I reminded her who called who, I had no obligation to respect her time since she didn't respect my privacy.

Bitch will probably call tomorrow.

Nothing like getting woken up at 3ish AM by a single gunshot somewhere in the neighborhood.  The odd thing about it was, I heard no screaming yelling or talking.  No cars driving away quickly.  No dogs barking.  It was just eerily quiet after.

Called 911, and they said they would send someone to check it out.  First off, I would hate to be the cop that got the call of a single gunshot heard somewhere, please investigate.  But they must have come by, because the dogs in the neighborhood went crazy about 30 minutes later.

The wife and I were driving home from Mission Viejo tonight. On the 15 S, right before Central in Lake Elsinore, saw a gnarly car accident. Wife started freaking out because right as we passed the accident, there was a diaper bag thrown from the car. About 4 cars pulled over to help, we did as well. Got to the car and it was ****ing wrecked. I still don't know how there wasn't a fatality.

Anyways, There is an adult male trapped in the car and 4-5 males trying to help him out. The wife/girlfriend was able to get out, he leg was all busted open. Somehow she ended up in my arms, I escorted her over to the side of the freeway doing my best to comfort her, and she starts screaming for her baby. This entire time I was freaking out inside about the baby because I hadn't seen or heard any of the other people assisting talk about the baby, but I put on my bravado and assured her everything was okay. Thank God the baby was pulled from the car about two minutes later...UNTOUCHED. ****ing incredible, man. The car rolled, was on its side, and the top was ****ing pancaked in. Thank God the baby was okay.

Two minutes later, the dude was able to be pulled from the car, he was all ****ed up. Blood everywhere, disoriented...has no idea what happened...Meanwhile, we're still waiting for the first responders. This whole ordeal was about 5 minutes...and all of a sudden, the mother ****er starts screaming and crying..."I'm Going to Jail..."

Now, I don't know if he was drunk or high or not...but my feelings for him immediately changed. **** that bullshit if he was drunk. All he ****ing kept saying was he was going to jail. He was able to calm down and THEN asks about his ****ing child. I have no idea if he was drunk or not, and if he wasn't, I apologize. If he was, I hope that mother ****er rots in hell. Jesus Christ, how the **** do you put an 8-10 month old baby in that type of danger? How do you put your girlfriend/wife in that situation? People are ****ing disgusting.

Again, if he was sober, I do apologize. I will never know the truth though. I'd be willing to bet a lot that he was intoxicated though. As I was walking back to our car, I kicked a beer can that was on the shoulder. It was ****ing half full...so I touched it...it was cold...I immediately became enraged even more. I can only believe the can was thrown from his car. I informed a CHP officer of the can and then went on my way home.

We assisted on an accident on the 210 freeway just as it crested the hill from Glendale into Pasadena. The car was slammed into the center divider then ended up sideways. We pulled over in front of the car and got Mom and her very young child out of the back seat and drove them to the other side off the freeway to a safe area by an of ramp and called the CHP. A bus comes over the hill and nearly finishes the job on the car.

Later we find out this dumb bitch was street racing with her boyfriend in another car and that's what caused the accident. He had looped all the way back around from the exit, back to Glendale and back up the freeway to see what happened. What do you do with these assholes?

This is why I keep a crow bar in my car.

The notion of someone getting in a crash, and knocked out so they can't get themselves out, and a fire starting and they burn alive, is just so scary to me.

Seen too many videos of that on the internet (usually it's in russia, go figure).

Granted they tell you to not get close / be a hero when a car is on fire, but still, eesh.

Got my steel on the ready if I ever see that sh*t.

While a crow bar can be useful to pry open a door.  This can be kept in your glove compartment.

Gnarly.

Saw something just a bit north on the 15 a couple years ago. Hot Damn, his chick, and I are going to dinner and everyone is driving their normal 75ish when all of a sudden the car in front of us blows a tire, and just immediately goes hard to the left, slams into another car that takes it and stays their course in their lane, but the car with the blow tire now veers super hard right almost like they were ricocheting off the car and just kind of spin-flies off the freeway (the drop was like 10-20 feet) and into the mountainous ravine like side of the freeway.

We pull over, but so did so many other people. I just remember the driver getting out and had that blank lost look like someone just tossed a flash bang at them and they are so incoherent and just confused they kind of start to walk around for no reason. I remember dudes running and jumping down into the ravine trying to assist or get everyone in the car to stay still for help to arrive.

We end up taking off because so many people pulled over it just seemed super dangerous.

Pretty wild to watch the car fly off the freeway. It was almost like a video game or movie scene. We were in disbelief watching it happen in front of us.

Way back when I first started working in Hollywood I lived in Yorba Linda. Coming home on night shift was always MrToads wild ride with all of the drunks.

One night I get off the freeway and just stopped and stayed at the stop sign, something just didn't feel right. Then over the hill speeds this VW going as fast as it could. Had I gone it would have taken me out.

I took a moment before going, realizing I just dodged a bullet then a couple blocks later there was the VW upside down in a field. I pull over and get out and there is this guy wandering with blood flowing from his head and face. I get him to stop and sit down and he keeps asking where is his cousin, where is his cousin.

A PD saw my emergency flashers and pulled over to see what was going on. I wave him over and he calls in for paramedics while this guy keeps asking where is his cousin. The cop takes one look in the VW and pulls me aside and asks if I saw the accident. I filled in what I knew then he looks at me and says the kids cousin is in the car but he is leaving by coroner.

Didn't sleep the rest of the night.

I was in a really bad accident about 15 years ago on the 134 by the Autry museum.  I was in my mom's brand new Altima because I drove a 1984 300zx at the time and I wasn't sure it could make the drive to Ventura from Arcadia.

Anyway, it started raining really hard, I was going maybe 55 and an Asian kid in a Camry comes flying by to my right, loses control and spins right into my lane.  I hit him full speed right in the drivers door, which knocked me spinning into the wall of the HOV lane.  The car in the HOV lane then ran head on into me because I got spun around.

Lucky for me a CHP officer saw the entire thing, easiest insurance claim ever, the car was totaled, the guys in the HOV lane were illegals from Honduras that got deported and the dude in the Camry that caused the whole thing broke the entire left side of his body and had to be airlifted out.  Other than having the airbag blow up in my face I was ok, amazingly.  My cell phone that was sitting in a cup holder in the center console got flung into the windshield so hard it shattered into bits.  My mom was happy I was fine but she really mourned the loss of her week old Altima... until about a month later when she got a new one.

I have a friend that was a "total loss adjuster" for a car insurance company.  He used to tell us horror stories about some of the accidents he had to investigate, including one where a rich kid stole his parents 911 turbo and became one with a freeway overpass pillar at 140 mph.  He had that job for three years and you could tell it really disturbed him.  I couldn't imagine looking at pictures of dead people strewn about the inside of cars.

Son and I went to lunch and there is this early 20's poser all dressed out in slacks, dress shoes, a fitted dress shirt with some dorky cocktail ring and acting really cool and you see him walk over with his water cup and fill it with iced tea. The second time he does this is convinces his buddy next to him, with a water cup, to go do it.

So my son walks over there and asks him if he works there. The guy gets this stupid grin on his face and then gets the lecture of being a douche and stealing from the restaurant, didn't he have a mother that taught him better. The guy turns flush red and it wasn't anger, all his pretentious bullshit was just deflated.

Later the group of them leave and it's the Umass Lowell track team that is here to compete at Mt. Sac. All the girls were in their UMass sweat shirts, the guys dressed like douches. The coach was sitting at the table the whole time and never said a word to his players, just gets up and leaves.

It takes three kids to send a text these days?

Was it sent to bully another kid or was this sent to a faculty member?

the pastor's daughter broke up with a boy and wanted to send him a really mean text, only she didn't want to write it herself. asked two boys to write something, so each of them did. they were in the library and showed the text to at least a dozen other kids before sending it.

the kid that received all of this venom is a nice kid, and he's a friend of one of the boys that composed the text. we only found out about the the text because this kids' mom has her phone set up to receive all the texts her son receives. she also happens to be a lawyer.
