that's fine, but bring in a guy that hasnt pitched in 3 weeks? If the hanging curve he threw to Sandoval with 2 strikes on him wasn't enough of a clue what was coming?

 

 

Even if they did make it to the 10th, his line up was all screwed up by then.

i have no idea what the actual stats are,  but it sure seems that using starters in relief during the postseason backfires more than it succeeds

the Ishikawa home run was special, but for me the biggest play of the game was morse's pinch hit home run to tie the game. The stadium was electric, the giants dugout was absolutely fired up and you could just tell they were going to win

The biggest play I thought was the deflection on Wong's grounder that went right to Crawford.

Normally...that ball goes into the outfield...but of course not. Crawford did field it like he expected it, though. No assuming.

That was a huge play, otherwise the runner would have scored.  Nice play by Crawford too.  It's plays like these that bounce the right way for the Giants and Royals, and against other teams.
