The greens look so bad on TV already.

 

the grass on the greens looks diseased, worse than what they had at riviera for the '95 PGA.

 

i also don't like that the greens are very undefined. doesn't play well on tv.

Tiger nails his opening tee shot then slices his approach right into the fescue.  Meanwhile Rickie totally shanks his approach and it rolls all the way to the green within 20 feet.

It's a shame there isn't a St. Louis Cardinal playing so Joe Buck could slob all over his knob.  Tiger blows.

Norman hasn't been terrible to listen to, but he could up the ante on being more interesting.

I have issues with the telecast and the camera angles they use for some shots. Also, there were a lot of promises of showing us new information/technology, but they've hardly used it.

They've also had some issues with losing track of the ball flight a fair number of times.

I'm going with Rickie Fowler. Should be coming in with a lot of confidence.

Holy crap.  Was able to watch some of the play.  Man I thought you guys were exaggerating.  That is embarrassing for the USGA at how bad the course looks.

 

It's like the course doesn't have sprinklers, so when the drought hit in Seattle, the course just followed.

Fowler won the Players this season.  Regardless he is horrible today.

 

This is easily the ugliest course I have ever seen for a PGA event.  Fairways are horrible, rough is awful and the greens are worse looking than some of the sand greens they have up here.

I would like to issue an apology to ESPN.  

 

This Fox coverage has been absolutely horrible.  It would help if they showed who was playing and what their number is.

Bad angles, not following the shots, missing good shots (big cheers), Norman wont shut up and is an Aussie homer to the max.

 

If this wasn't the U.S. Open I would not watch this misery.

the commentary by the tv guys is just plain boring. i'm not learning anything new or interesting, and they've been pumping the course and it's awesomeness like a 16 year old trying to impress his date's father.
