154 might be a little high.  I will take the under.  I say 150.  I think he will be conservative and not use the driver much.

Chambers looks awesome but I bet the players ****ing hate it.  It looks so difficult.

I can't stand it when they overwork these courses to make it impossible to play.

I don't know why they do this.  I want to see good golf.  Crap, if I wanted to see balls roll off the green or bounding into the rough I would just watch the golf played at my local club.

There was a crappy course in Pasadena or Glendale or La Canada or somewhere out there that I played a couple of times that was like that.  If you hit an approach with a wedge that you would normally expect to stop and spin back a little, instead would just bounce like it hit a cart path.  You were better off hitting it short and trying some sort of bump and run.

Really you were better off never playing the course.

Eh.  The reason why Augusta is the best is because it is a difficult course but it allows for different styles of play and allows for scoring.

These US Open setups where you have to stripe it down the fairway every drive, be conservative with your approach and rely on long putting, really makes for boring golf.

i like to see precision on a golf course, where there are certain places to hit it, and certain places where you can miss but not be up the creek. the u.s. open setup allows really for just one style of play and not a whole lot of anything else.

there's nothing more unfair to me than a green that won't accept a properly lofted shot.

i hope this place isn't a disaster, but watching that video of the rock hard greens and the greens that won't accept water isn't a very good sign.

we also get joe buck and greg norman on the telecast by fox. oh boy.

one thing that has me intrigued about this course is that the setup can be changed on some of the holes each day. there's one par 4 that was mentioned on the golf channel yesterday as having the ability to become a par 5 if they use a different tee box. there's also a par 3 (#17?) that from one tee box plays about 25 yards downhill and plays shorter, but from another tee box plays uphill and plays longer, even though it's yardage is shorter than from the downhill tee box.
