My father's cousin once owned a dirt track northwest of Atlanta. My father and I once went to race night. I don't know how the track in New York compared to this one, but the lighting was barely adequate. One of the regular runners there was Junior Samples (the guy who was on Hee Haw).

USA Today reported this morning that per the Sheriff(?) back there, the investigation into the crash would continue for at least two weeks. 

 

Doesn't that kind of suggest they're looking for a way to nail Tony?  I mean, if everybody agreed the kid caused his own death, why drag this out any longer?

That's because the penalties will be a case by case basis. That is how NASCAR does things. They don't have a list of penalties per infraction like NFL does.
