Shane actually. That's what's hilarious about it: Lindsey for Street sounded about right for both teams, with some complaining and some thrilled. But then let's add two players who each have at least twice as much value as Street. And you know the unnamed players will be irrelevant.

If they got the Padres and Street confused with Dodgers and Kershaw, I would still be upset they gave up so much for that contract.

 

Have you seen Lindsey play? It was awful from the beginning and it only got worse. Literally a nightmare trade.

If we got to the playoffs and lost because of a blown save or weak bp pitching everyone here would be crying that Dipoto didn't get a strong relief pitcher when he had the chance. Comparing this trade to any other is retarded, none of these guys have had a chance to play for their teams. We have no idea how things will work out but on paper, for right now, we just got a lot stronger. Like Salmon said, shorten the games with a strong BP.
