Really wish conger was the starter

his WPA / game is very negative. Iannetta is the other way around. Before we knew if Cron was gong to pan out I advocated obtaining another catcher with good defense (not AJ), giving Conger more starts, and give Iannetta starts at DH so he could play every day.

What's funny is people kept complaining about Albert not having a signature hit as an Angel and he now has what, 3 game-winners and a game-tying HR in the last week?

He has probably had two of his biggest five hits as an Angel in the last week. It has been awesome to see.

While you are at it please show us Vernon Wells and Gay Matthews Jr so we can get a clearer view of who that is no longer on the Angels produces the least WPA.

There is something called pressure. It is silly to say RISP is just luck. So much of sports success is psychological. Some players are clutch.

what is a RISP skill set anyway? as far as I know the game doesn't change when runners get on. The player's bat is still wooden and round, and the pitcher is still trying to throw a small white sphere in an attempt to make the batter miss.

RISP is luck imo. Unless we start insinuating that batters try harder when runners are on, which I guess something can be said for that but I don't believe it

Yes, there is no pressure to perform in front of 35,000 fans and hundreds of thousands of TV viewers every night. Unless one is insanely talented it is impossible to get to the Show if one can't deal with pressure.
