I honestly don't see the need to keep both Andersen and Gibson. I've seen enough out of Gibson that I wouldn't be against trading Andersen for D help. Andersen will have to go sooner or later.

I agree. I think it would hurt us in the short term because Gibson is streaky, but he has the talent and will only get better as he gets more comfortable on the ice at the professional level.

 

Maybe in the offseason?

Anybody else go to the Fanfest for the Gulls in San Diego? Probably 3-5,000 people there. What a cluster fk of a mess. I hope it was because of an unexpectedly high turnout.

But still.  San Diego Gulls as the AHL team is a good move.  And it's good to see that there is interest in the team.

From what I heard 8500 people showed up for it. A lot of my friends made it down there and said it was great. Way more than anticipated.

Cogliano has been one of the few bright spots lately. He just finds ways to score.

 

Perry just missed on a nice breakout. The final push is coming, hopefully we can score an equalizer here. 

 

I have been impressed with Manson's play. I hope he gets regular playing time when Sami comes back.

Don't know much about him, but it seems like a pretty even trade.

Will be nice to have another speedster besides Cogs, and it doesn't hurt that he's a LW.

We'll need the depth there while Beleskey is out.  Bourque has been garbage, and Etem is bleh.
