Snagged tickets to the game tonight, Stubhub prices got down to the 90s so I jumped on it. Cannot wait!

LOL at the Teemu jerseys for $1000. You can hunt one down on eBay for 300 if you tried hard enough. Ill probably pick up the little plaque for 30 bucks and thats it. Ridiculous prices.

I haven't paid enough attn to ducks hockey over the years but why isn't Paul Kariya appreciated as much as Teemu?

I feel like Kariya was the face of the franchise for a very long time along with teemu.

He burned his bridges when he bailed after the SC finals loss.

He publicly declared the team will be back in it the next season, with him leading the way.

Then he turned around and took pennies on the dollar to go play in Colorado. It was a move to try and get a bigger contract the following year under the old CBA because it was beneath the league average, so he could be an unrestricted free agent.

The Ducks will never raise Kariya's sweater to the rafters.

Last night was epic. Great ceremony. Glad I was there for it. The game sucked till the 3rd but damn what a finish!

**** Paul Kariya. A lot of people said he didn't come cus he didn't want to be boo'd and take away from Teemu's night. He was cheered when he came up on the video though.
