Quick is back in form.

That 70s Line Part Deux (Carter, Toffoli, King) is kicking arse. 

Only downer these past 6 games is zero PP goals, but they have also given up just 1 PP goal. 

Tied with SJ with 2 games in hand, and are now just 2 points in back of #2 Calgary in the Pacific Division.

they're starting to run out of games left to play. a good 5 or 6 game win streak would go a long way to righting this ship.

The Kings should be scaring the hell out of everyone in the west with how they are playing right now.  Great game for them.  Quick has been unreal in the last 7 games.

Still need one more blue liner though before the trade deadline, and hope Pearson somehow returns by early April.

On a roll, finding ways to win.  It was great to beat the Sharks in their own outdoor tank!  They're starting to look like another version of the previous Cuppers!

nice Stadium Series win over the Sharks........seven in a row but the Kings hold on a playoff spot is still precarious.

 

I'm sure you all remember last year when the Kings lost a key game to the Sharks (might have been last game of regular season) and with that loss essentially dropped from the third playoff spot to the 8th playoff spot..........

 

that actually worked out pretty well although I think we could have all done without the falling behind 0-3 in the San Jose playoff series........

Getting Martinez back will be huge.

I really dont know how much cap space the kings have right now but a ton of names are being thrown out there.

I wouldn't mind standing pat if they're still playing well. I don't want to ruin the mojo. Some of the guys called up from Manchester are playing well too.

word on the street is that pearson is off crutches. no info on whether he's started skating yet. still seems a bit early for that.

Jones will play vs. Ottawa so Quick doesn't have to go back to back to face the Ducks Friday.  Well that's my guess anyway.

The Pk was awesome. Held the best pp in the league to 0 for 5.

wings spent what looked like a nice majority of the 2nd and 3rd in the kings zone. Kings are getting a lot of bodies in front of the net to help out quick it seems. Really good team defense it seems like.

Kings sign Kyle Clifford to 5 yr extension worth 8m comes out to 1.6m aav. Rumor was is if he hit the open market he would have netted 3m a season.
