Royals are 4-7 since acquiring Ibanez at the beginning of July.

 

They were 17-10 in June.

well, I am glad he at least got to play in KC and receive a nice ovation from the crowd upon his 'return' to KC -- had some good numbers for KC during his time there -- and then he hit what may be his final MLB HR there......so that short stint in KC well worth it........better than the way he went out in Anaheim.

 

He's probably done. 

 

I always like Ibanez -- seemed to always play hard and put up some very good numbers for a few different teams.

 

good clubhouse guy and all around good guy it seems.

 

wish him well whatever is in store for him next........

I have a lot of respect for the guy. Always played hard and could always hit. Usually killed us when he played against us. We waited at least a year too long to acquire him - which isn't his fault.

In all fairness folks were saying he would do that in a local MSBL/MABL league.
