Lol @ implying we are 4th in the al because of ms.

Why not ? You cant have it both ways.  If your gonna bomb him for every game we lose you need to be reasonable and give him credit when we win.  Anyway, I could kind of buy into the new voice argument, especially if it seemed like he had lost the club house.  That does not seem to be the case outwardly anyway.

Joe Smith was UNAVAILABLE because it was 4-3 Astros instead of 4-3 Halos?  The worst manager in the game is the one getting out coached by Bo Porter.     Iannetta is behind many of these losses as well. He is a horrible defensive catcher and pitch caller. Whenever he is starting regularly, we are losing.

These mandatory, fixed-in-stone roles for relief pitchers is one of the reasons I can't stand Scioscia.

ZERO creativity and adjustment to circumstances.

And yes, Conger is infinitely better than Iannetta behind the plate.

Scioscia is staying as manager for the remainder of his contract tenure. Accept it and move on.

If he was going to be fired, it should have been 3+ years ago.

These two statements are illogical when taken together.

If the ONLY reason to keep Scioscia is his contract and the money remaining on it, it makes more sense to fire him now or at some point in the remainder of his contract than it would have 3+ years ago.

The team is 11-13 when Conger starts and 20-15 when Iannetta starts.

There are plenty of valid reasons to criticize Scioscia this season, no need to randomly invent reasons that aren't.

if he wasn't fired in the off-season, he sure as hell isn't going to be fired mid-season when the team is in 2nd place and above .500.  Things would have to get ugly for him to be fired mid-season.  Like player having to be separated and double digit games below .500 ugly, and none of us should be rooting for that to happen.

The sample size is much larger than just this year. I am not comparing Conger to Iannetta. They are both flawed, and lacking in fundamentals. Our radio crew points it out on a game by game basis. This is on Mike as well. Torrealba was no solution, but giving him only a few bats in spring training just showed how clueless this team is with the catching situation.

I really hate that he won't let a relief pitcher go more than one inning no matter how easily they put the batters away. Its not like their arms are going to fall off.

Just because MS has a good team doesn't mean he can manage it!

I still believe (more than ever now) that 2002 happened because of the players desire & Joe Maddon more than anything MS did!

Genius Joe is having a banner year

Why exactly should Torrealba have been given more ABs in spring?

He was brought in with everyone knowing exactly what he is, and at this point in his career all he basically is good for is depth. He's exactly the guy you bring into spring in case someone gets hurt, and if not you hope he accepts a AAA role. Nothing more.

Which is exactly what the Angels did. And Yorvit decided he didn't want to play in AAA and is sitting at home now. Whatever.

Not sure how that's indicative of the Angels being "clueless with the catching situation"
