You're right. Teixera made a mental error and it opened the gates. Leblanc loads the bases, hits a batter and gives a sacrifice fly. A's up 7-4 in the bottom of the ninth in New York. At least they are going to beat the Yanks. Sigh.

I truly think they keep trotting Ibanez out there because he's become friends with the coaches being that he's so similar in age.

Richards is freaking dealing.  Great bounce back from his last two.  I know it's against the Astros but between Altuve Springer Fowler and Singleton...they have a decent lineup now.

I'm not sure I've ever seen him maintain that kind of consistency on his slider over the course of an entire game.  He's virtually unhittable when he can throw it for strikes.

Conger's pitch framing deserves credit as well. Home plate ump has a large zone, and he has taken advantage of it.

watching Game ONE of the Stanley Cup playoffs -- clicked onto the box score of Halos game -- looks like Garrett Richards is pitching a great game......complete game shutout??? Don't see many of those these days........great outing after his last outing debacle..........good to see he can bounce back like that..........
