Scioscia will yell and stare down umpires, challenge calls until he's red in the face on national TV but he will never move Pujols out of the 3rd spot in the lineup. Therein lies the weakness in our manager to help push this team forward. In reality Pujols should be a permanent DH and hitting no higher than 5th or 6th but it's sacrilegious to talk about it.

I partially agree. Cut Ibanez, have Cron be the full time DH with an occasional 1b day to spell Pujols. Needless to say, Albert's play at first base is still a strong suit to his game. He just no longer is the great hitter he once was. Just bat him down farther in the order now. He is heads and shoulders better in the field than anyone we have that can play first base.

Agree fully on the youth part. Ive been a huge cheerleader for cowgill and green. I think cron will get figured out, but hes still a mile better than ibanez.
