Hardest career milestone to achieve?

Of all the major landmarks in MLB which do you think is the hardest?  All the landmarks such as 3,000 hits, 500 homers, etc.

I get that wins are somewhat arbitrary, but to even get to 200 wins you have kept your team in a ton of games, and you were a pretty damn good pitcher.

Former Angels Nolan Ryan and Bert Blyleven had 61 and 60, respectively. Clemens finished with 46.

If Nolan Ryan were to pitch today, what kind of numbers do you think he would post?

I don't think Ryan would have as many shutouts due to managers routinely removing starters nowadays, even if they haven't allowed a run.

 

I know he wouldn't have nearly as many complete games. He finished with 222.

Well, when you talk about milestone, for pitcher, usually it's the win total, so I'd say 300 wins. For hitter, it's either home run or hits, 600 HR and 3000 hits.

A realistic milestone that will probably never be broken in my lifetime would be Dimaggio's 56 game hitting streak.

Ripken's consecutive game streak is going to be hard to beat at 2,632 games.
