I think that is what happened to Wayman Tisdale... he broke his femur walking down the stairs, and it was because of a tumor.... hopefully this is not the case for Don.

 

Dave Dravecky had something similar which caused him to fracture his pitching arm, which was eventually amputated.

Myeloma can cause profound osteopenia.  Best case scenario is that the fracture was a result of this as opposed to a tumor.

he needs to concentrate on physical therapy.

 

not sure if all the road game travel stuff would be good for him even when he returns.

 

hope he can be on the field within a couple of months -- perhaps just the home games.
