Just reading up on that one. If i understand it (just from the article, not from the case notes/evidence), theres cameras that cover everything, but none show the cop bringing a gun feom his trunk over to the car?

I have no clue what happened, and i stress in things like this not to assume too much from media articles (you have to see the actual trial records), but it sounds like the prosecutions case was based on assumption but lack of evidence from kickoff. It very well could have been brought to court to appease people to begin with, knowing it was never going to fly.

I'm so sick of hearing about how cops are just following their training. Either they need to implement a different type of training or they need to rely on common sense more often.

LOL.  They deleted the video of probable cause.  And kept up the video of the officer shooting him unprovoked.

Apparently there was a fair amount of trouble caused by the suspect before the camera started filming, according to witnesses who were interviewed by channel 7.

A state trooper was ordered to alter the arrest report of a judge’s daughter. Now he’s suing.

I'm sure this happens quite frequently, like all the time.  But good for him for standing up to what's right.
