It's interesting to think back to when Nomar, Arod, Jeter and Tejada were all at it. Everyone thought Arod was far and away the best player, Jeter the most overrated. In retrospect Jeter was likely the only one that was clean. Jeter was overrated for so long he became under appreciated if not underrated.

Does the PED era impact people's view of Jeter and his prolonged excellence? IMO, it has.

I wondered myself why this is just being done now. The Yankees were knocked out of the playoffs three months ago.

that hip surgery has taken out tennis player many times in the past for good.

they put a LOT more pressure on their bodies than any baseball player ever will, so a-fraud will come back just fine, i'm sure.

he had chemists making him designer steroids for years, so i'm betting his surgeon will be the best in the world and get him back to normal, even though i hope he gets an infection that causes mass necrosis of his entire body.

A-Rod's problems have been more connected to muscle and tendon issues - although one article also cited "bone impingement" in the latest surgery.

One source familiar with Bosch's operation said his office was regularly visited by Juan Carlos Nunez, a man identified this summer as working for Melky Cabrera's agents, Seth and Sam Levinson of ACES Sports Management.

From looking at Cot's, Seth and Sam Levinson represents:

Nelson Cruz Rangers
Jhonny Peralta Tigers - 2011???
Joaquin Benoit Tigers - Misses all of 2009, then comes back lights out
Shane Victorino - Red Sox (Previously represented by them)
Dustin Pedroia Red Sox - Would it really surprise anyone?
Jonny Gomes = Red Sox (Previously represented by them) Stats are filled with spikes
Melky Cabrera Blue Jays (Suspended for PED use)
Grant Balfour A's Carreer minor leaguer, that turns it around and becomes lights out at 29 in Florida
John Jaso A's Not much in TB, then shoots to a .850 OPS in Seattle?
Michael Morse Mariners Question of 2010 and 2011
Raul Ibanez Mariners
Jesus Montero Mariners
Matt Harrison Rangers Went from a 1.5+ WHIP 5+ ERA to a 1.26 WHIP 3.29 ERA. Although his minor league numbers support his improvement.
Brandon Phillips Reds
Jay Gibbons Brewers 2005, 2010
Jason Motte Cardinals
Placido Polanco Marlins
David Wright Mets All his constant injuries
John Buck Mets 2009-2010
Jonathan Papelbon Phillies Don't even need to look at this one
Gio Gonzalez - Nationals
Heath Bell - Dbacks One of the most dramatic changes after signing a big contract
Aaron Harang Doggies 2005--2007
Brandon League Doggies
Jason Marquis Padres

That's an impressive list of players. Just put notes on things that stood out on their stats. Not saying that they all used. Just associating and questioning.

I have to agree about David Wright. Nothing says juicer like a concussion from being hit in the head, or a broken pinkey after a pitch inside got him, or a stress fracture of the back.

Guilty!
