It's interesting to think back to when Nomar, Arod, Jeter and Tejada were all at it. Everyone thought Arod was far and away the best player, Jeter the most overrated. In retrospect Jeter was likely the only one that was clean. Jeter was overrated for so long he became under appreciated if not underrated.
Does the PED era impact people's view of Jeter and his prolonged excellence? IMO, it has. |

| that hip surgery has taken out tennis player many times in the past for good.
they put a LOT more pressure on their bodies than any baseball player ever will, so a-fraud will come back just fine, i'm sure.
he had chemists making him designer steroids for years, so i'm betting his surgeon will be the best in the world and get him back to normal, even though i hope he gets an infection that causes mass necrosis of his entire body.
