Location: Arcadia | Walden has a lot of upside but Butcher was never going to fix him. Walden needs to change his delivery and get rid of the little hop. His delivery is way too complex to repeat effectively. |

I doubt Walden has a prominent role in their pen. They have one of the best pens in baseball. |

| Just saw Hanson's velocity charts....I don't think I would suggest doing that.
Hopefully his shoulder isn't totally ground beef at this point.

| i cant complain since we got him so cheap, but this kind of reminds me of a lesser version of the kazmir trade. shoulder problems and velocity decline, hopefully he's healthy. but we got him for virtually nothing so whatever |

That's the key...is he healthy?....the Braves rarely make a bad trade....Sheurholtz and now Wren know how to evaluate their players...

Location: Limbo | OK, I guess there are concerns with Hanson - I didn't realize his trend had been so downward, but still. At worst he's a league average starter, at best he can be "fixed" and can become a #2.
I really like this move either way. |
