Dragging our tails in from a 2-5 road trip, I wouldn't be surprised if the Thunder Stix were blue

I believe they first did the thunderstix in 2002. I went to a game where Glaus hit a 3 run shot off of Arthur Rhodes. I think the rest of that year, we did all right too. I don't remember

I was at every playoff game in 2002 and Thunderstixs rocked the house.

Thunderstix create the loudest experiance Ive ever had at a stadium. Ive been to Qwest field and an Angels playoff game with the stix was louder.

I dont' get some people hate on the Thunderstix. They create a lot of noise and get the crowd into the game. Better than waving some stupid towel around like every other stadium does.

I feel if you have nothing to say but LAME get the hell off the board. This team needs support right now not that kind of crap.

They have been lame since Nov. '02. I say this, of course, knowing that my internet comment could have an adverse effect on the team's performance this weekend. F'n me.

yeah the old guy sitting next to me in 02 hated thundersticks, but the kids loved em. You know what they say. If it is too loud you are too old.

I got no problem with volume, Junior. Got hearing loss and tinnitus to prove it.

I just think the stix are played. The were a wonderful addition to the surreal atmosphere in '02. Since then, the fan enthusiasm with them just isn't there. Maybe the dbs of '02 ruined it for me, I just expect more when they pass them out and am usually disappointed. I don't think they are worth carrying the rap that we Angel fans need noisemakers.

All in all, though, I don't give a big pile of steaming Rangerdom if they pass them out. Pretty sure I'll put them to good use, too, if they give them out on Sat.

I still have a set of 2002 Thundersticks in their wrapper. Not even sure why I kept them.

I know how to show my support of the team better than you do!

Imagine if fans use their thundersticks to hit beach balls while doing the wave.

Some people here would go into cardiac arrest
