Orem Owlz Posts: 118 | Wrigley is awesome, had the chance to go last year and see the Cubs play the Braves. Anderson and Kotchman were both there as well. Get there early find a place to park and spend time before and after the game on the streets, it is amazing. Roof seats all over the place, street vendors, bars and just people everywhere. Neat small bar just beyond center field. If planning on bleacher seats, we went to a 6:00 PM game and the guy in the front of the line was there at 12:00PM. Oh and he was in an Angels shirt and hat. The dude about 10 people behind was wearing an Angels Shirt with a San Manual Casino hat. Great game and great experience, nothing like a game at Wrigley.

![]() Hall of Famer Posts: 22687 Location: AngelsWin.com: Where Angels Fans Are @ | I think I'm in -- 50/50. I'm also scheduled to come down to our Summer Fanfest so this may be difficult for me. If we get a ton of people going to this series I wonder if we should just hold our Summer Fanfest in Chicago? Thoughts?

All-Star Posts: 2702 Location: Fullerton or Angel Stadium | I'm cheating for my flight.. I'm using hubby's frequent flyer miles--and, for the first time, flying first class!!! Taking a red eye to Chicago, so I'll be flying in early on Friday morning, and leaving late on Sunday night.

All-Star Posts: 2702 Location: Fullerton or Angel Stadium | Halo - 2/4/2010 2:28 PM Where's a good area to stay in Chicago? Scott, I'm cheating and staying near the airport. That way I know I can take the El to the games and I can still get to the players' hotel for drinks and make it back without having to call a cab..

All-Star Posts: 1635 | This sounds awesome. Chicago is by far and away my favorite city in the country. Tons of cool stuff to do, the public transportation is awesome, and the people are really friendly. For anyone going, take the time to explore the city. I'm certain you'll have a good time.

Hall of Fame Posts: 28093 | Don't forget a trip to the Billy Goat Tavern, or to Rush Street. And of course: Chicago Chop House Parthanon Pizzaria Due Chicago Dogs anywhere And of course Cubs' fans don't care at all for the Raviners. Just tell some humorous Raviner stories. Last time I stayed in Chicago (the family) in 2006, it was at the Essex House on Michigan Ave. $250/night for a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom suite, convinient with the EL nearby.
