Oh man...Patti, I forgot to get the pass from you! Dammit.

You actually forgot to even ASK if I'd loan it out.. LOL.

Looks like I MAY be back over there before the end of the month.. so I'll probably be using it again myself.. YAY!!!!!!!!!!

Good point. I got hypnotized by it.

This is how I misread your post at first. You had me a little scared, or perhaps a little bit excited, Patti.

Oh geez.. It was bad enough we had conversation about it.. I don't need PICTURES of it!!!!!!!! (But.. I can't wait to meet you this summer, cause between the both of us and Chonito, we're gonna have a hell of a time trying to work our minds out of the gutter for any reason... )
lol. I'll be finalizing the schedule for my June/July trip soon, but no doubt we need to catch a game or two together while I'm over. The only problem is I know you're going to have a horrible influence on my innocent mind.

I've never been on such a fun plane flight, but people that were not sitting in Row 13 D-F probably disagree with my assessment.

Yep had a great time hanging out and meeting everyone, Hail Mary's was awesome, as well as breakfast at Denny's the next day!

Finally got home! Left around 2 PM AZ time. I have a stow away as well. Joe Mauer was chilling in my backseat haha. I had such a great weekend! Putting faces to those of you not on facebook was great. Hail Mary's was amazing. Thank you to Chuck, Tim Mead, Mota and Smith for everything. What a great spring training experience. My first one and I couldn't be happier. Next year I'll be able to get my study session on so watch out haha. Yeah the Dennys idea was mine apparently. I'm taking the hit on that one. MY BAD! haha.

How'd you manage to get all that alcohol, minor?

Ahhhh back at work after a great weekend in Tempe. It seems AW Fanfest keeps getting better each year - thanks and job well done to Chuck, Brian and the rest of the crew who helped put it together. A big thank you to Larry "Lhalo" and Dan who let AngelMonkey and I hitch a ride back to OC instead of having to fly back on SouthWorst. It was great to see some familliar AW faces - meet some new ones and watch Angels Baseball after what has seemed like a painstakingly long off season. Go Halos!

I don't even remember what I said during the Goldman interview. I'm sure it made no sense whatever it was.

Chuck... hell of a job putting together Fanfest, man! You can count on my participation and support moving forward. It was great finally meeting you and the gang @ Hail Mary's... not to mention the next morning's activities at Tempe Diablo and even the... uhhh, entertaining near brawl at hotel bar later that night. I still have NO IDEA how I managed to NOT bludgeon Mr. drunken ranger trash where he stood (about 4 inches from my face) ... Must be all the good Halo karma in the room -- or maybe it was Godzilla-san's good vibes floating around the hotel...

It was also great getting to talk shop with Terry and Jose (and Tim Mead) and tell them just how much it means to this fan to follow such a class organization! I know that many here share my feelings of pride and appreciation, too. They are not only classy to the core, but thankfully they're a well constructed club with a bright future ahead of them. I've said this many times before -- it truly IS a great time to be an Angels fan!

Looking forward to becoming more of a fixture here on Angelswin...

And Brian.. btw, I still owe you a beer!

Cheers,

Matt (aka Old #30)

Matt, I'm so glad you came and participated in this with us this weekend and we had a chance to have some beers, talk Angels Baseball and that I got to meet your wife and kids.

It was a great weekend indeed. I'm excited that you're on board with us here and I look forward to your contributions on the forum and continued friendship.

Oh yeah, when you have a sec Matt, email me some of those pictures you took over the weekend to chuck@angelswin.com ... I think you got one of Terry and Jose at Hail Marys.

And if this past weekend wasn't enough... Hubby got home from work last night, basically said hello to me then asked when I was going back to Tempe..

Today, I get to plan out another couple days in Tempe. Sigh.. Let's see.. when do I want to go back now??? I think I want to go halfway between now and when it's over, that way, the withdrawal won't be that bad..

Way to make me jealous!

highdesertfan15 - 2010-03-07 8:14 PM I am a little surprised, however that you didn't say anything.......or did you???
Nothing I could really say.. I got one of the last seats on the plane, cause nobody wanted to sit next to crazy girl and her sister.. It's not like I could have gotten off and got on a different flight. It was Southwest. Which reminds me again why I don't like that airline. I LIKE the fact that they don't charge for luggage. I DON'T like the way we have to get our seats. I want a damn ASSIGNED seat, preferably one I can pick out ahead of time.. At least for my next trip, I'm going first class!!!!!

There are a lot of guys on this site that would have paid you double for those seats: One woman's trash is another man’s treasure. I'm not speaking of me of course.

Actually, the crazy one was really pretty, if you could get over her topic of discussion, the neck brace and the seizures.

I give you mad props for being able to hold your own and keep it civil. Although I would have loved to see the head butt to the nose.

The honorary How do you cook salmon thread is coming soon

Unless certain parts are in a "compromising" position when the seizure starts, sure..
