Well, Ervin without his fastball and usual slider isn't really much of a pitcher at all. Hopefully he returns when his velocity returns.

So...now we have Palmer and O'Sullivan as 2/5 of our rotation. :(

I haven't seen a Moseley update - I am assuming he's still not recovered.

Nope. they can't figure out what's causing Moseley pain, and moved him to the 60 day DL.

Same here. They must think highly of him to have him pitching in AAA at age 21.

Rep includes good command for his age and fastball in the low 90s but can touch mid 90s.

Sounds like a Joe Saunders. Does he have a sinkerball though ?

I'm not excited to see O'Sullivan.

Santana not coming back to form would be a huge blow. I'm already tempted to take back what I said about the Angels winning the division.

Ervin has been a thorn in my side last 2 years now... i got to see one angels game last year... in Baltimore... they crushed the O's Friday and Saturday night... went to the sunday game.. Erv vs. GARRET OLSEN... olsen throws gem and O's win 5-2... now i draft Ervin this year on my fantasy team at work... have him sit on bench for 6 weeks just to SUCK... ugh

Just like Sosh, my focus is "in house", not on what other teams are doing. The hovering around .500 and the mounting injuries make this a very similiar year.

Hopefully with a little rest, Erv can get back to his normal self. Not sure I've ever seen a guy go from 89mph back to 95mph after taking a couple days off, but it could happen. I wonder if Erv and Kelvim have a road trip planned somewhere?

It will be fun to see Sean O get a start.

Well, whenever you have contact or rely on him, something bad happens. With the division being as close as it is we hardly are in a position to take chances.

Well I enjoyed our dream rotation of Lackey, Escobar, Santana, Saunders, and Weaver for one week while it lasted.

I guess we will never see it healthy and locked in for any duration of time...
